Roons Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 A friend (lady) of mine has a titanium frame that she does not want to part with however she wants to upgrade the components. What would you recommend for the following... Groupsets: She seems sold on Shimano... Seat: A lady seat? Pedals: She rides well but is not a pro so I have suggested mid-range rather than top end. Any suggestions appreciated.
splat Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Ones budget usually ends up making the decisions... 2nd hand Dura Ace (7800) for R5K (a mate of mine has a set in V good condition)or new Ultegra (6700) R6 or R7K Selle Italia ladies Gel Flow (centre cut out) There are/were a few sets of Look Keo's floating around here on The Hub, otherwise get some matching Shimano 6700 pedals
