Have I set it up wrong?Doesn't look like there is much one can do wrong. It is my road bike I was using. Any help please.
Zula Posted June 10, 2010 Share Indoor trainers do tend to eat normal tyres. Most guys use a training tyre which is a hrder compund, and is usually orange in colour to differentiate.
Thomo Posted June 10, 2010 Share Indoor trainers chow standard road tyres ... not within 5 mins though so I suspect that your tyre may well have been on its way out anyway. If you are going to be spending time on the trainer invest in a dedicated trainer tyre - I see that they come in different colour options nowadays rather than the original yellow/orange.Cost is ? R400.
geoffro Posted June 10, 2010 Share And that means extra wheel AND cassette! That spinning bike in the gym is sounding much cheaper for winter!
