anthemboy Posted July 20, 2010 Share So I got myself one of those MD80 mini video cameras last week. I finally got to test it on the bike over the weekend. On Sunday afternoon the battery went flat during the ride. I got home, downloaded the videos off the camera and then left it to charge for around 2hours. I then unplugged it and noticed the red LED swithing off immediately. Normally the camera stays on after charging. Anyway, I then tried to switch it on but the red LED comes on only while I hold the power button in. When I release the power button the red LED goes off again. The blue LED does not come on at all anymore. The PC also does not detect the camera anymore. Trying to reset the camera also makes no difference. Anyone else with a similar problem on these cameras? No issue like that. Just a problem that I can't fit even an hour on the 4GB memory card. On Friday I filled the memory card with 53 minutes of video.... MaxUmis Posted July 20, 2010 Share I dropped mine the day I got it... oops...The drop dislodged the lens. I opened it, refitted the lens to the PC board and wha-la. It works. Don't know if this might be your problem too...Just thought I'd share.
anthemboy Posted July 20, 2010 Share I've been very careful with mine. Have not dropped it. It worked fine until I charged it again. I charged it before without any issues.
Gatiepie Posted July 20, 2010 Share As I said, my battery live is not a problem. Maybe you have a dud. Just wish I could disable sound and get 2 hours of footage on the 4GB card....
