License to kill

Hey guys

 

I have been mtb'ing for some time and also got a roadbike to get some miles in with the missus.

 

I hear that you need a license. what does it entail? Is it only to race or to ride anywhere?

 

(i can already see how much cooler mtb is - no license or red tape and if the pigs want to chase you, simply hit the single track and make a loud OINK!)

Generally you need to join either PPA and or CSA if your serious about racing and entering MTB events. I personaly coudlnt be bothered. I pay the extra fees cause i dont race much, first event this weekend
