Somerset West: Cyclist Hit

So this morning my wife and I witnessed a cyclist being hit by a motorist. He got T-boned by her and thank goodness he is OK.

 

He was really, really pissed and was swearing and shouting at her in a language that we could not speak but still managed to understand him.

 

This happened right in front of the cop station and since we saw he was not injured, drove on.

 

The motorist was at fault as she blindly accelerated from a stop street without checking that he was not still in front of her vehicle.

i hope she damaged her car more than him or his bike

I hope so too.

 

The sun was hectic this morning and I struggled to drive but was still no excuse to what happened. Regardless of the fact that he is a horticulturist, he had every right to be on the road and was not negligible.
