RodTi Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Hello all, Who can help - what would the most likely gear-ratio have been on my stock standard 'back-pedal' Raleigh BMW have been, that I rode as a laaitie? How close was that to the most common option amongst today's mtb singlespeed brigade? Trying to get my head around a few things Fanks!

javadude Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I'm riding a 32 / 18, which is easy enough for me except on steep hills. Tried 32 / 16 but that was a bit too hard on the legs.
