Garmin Edge 305

Is the Garmin Edge 305 the same as a normal bike computer ie: does it save your speed, distance, heart rate etc for each ride in a memory.?

I think before you buy a 305 (if thats what you want to do?) have a look on the hub, there was a thread about them and people had a LOT of problems with it!!

I own an Edge 305 and I'm very happy with it. Having said that, if I was in the market for a GPS cycle computer right now, I'd save a bit more and rather buy the Edge 500. It really looks like they've ironed out the issues of the 305.

 

There's someone around these here parts that is selling Garmin kit at reduced prices - I also spotted someone in the For Sale section that had a very well-priced new unit for sale (though I suspect it's sold already at that price).
