  1. cool didn't know it changed. thanks last time I checked it was 5 years for suspension frames
  2. probably 2 years ago They call it a limited lifetime warranty. if you read the fineprint, it says 5 years Silverback also advertises limtited lifetime warranty - 3 years for alu frames
  3. Just to add fuel to the fire. i moved from an anthem to a Silverback Sprada 1. The suspension is a lot similar to maestro. More travel. Better wheels. I am absolutely in love with the silverback. IMO it is a better bike. I found the Giant cockpit too tight, and the head angle to relaxed. If you are 185+ in height, the silverback will probably suit you better like in my instance. OH, and Giant do not offer lifetime warranty.. it is 5 years. Silverback is 3 years

    Maxxis

I have crossmarks front and rear, never had an issue and they are bomb proof cant see the need for any more traction/wider tyre in the front, and I ride any technical sections with those. Also , when you buy it like that, you move your front tyre to the rear once the rear is stuffed, en just buy a new front one each time
  5. see ya all there. gonne be epic
  6. I have the same problem, Had 6+ injections, it works for a month max. I learned to live with it. BTW, ever noticed how many times a week you bump your elbow against something all of a sudden? fark me, it hurts
  7. chris willemse stocks it as well. best pedals ever
  8. bwahahahahah
  9. No, but it is however compulsory :whistling:
  10. I ride alone in majik often. Never been worried
  11. Anywhere inside the fenced off area at Majik is free for all. The only no go is the part that goes down to Bloemendal. If it is members only zone, there will be a sign that clearly indicates it. The rest of Majik is free to ride by whoever wants to. There are some awesome trails out there for which you can buy a day permit. Hoogekraal, Contermans and Meerendal. Have a look at the clubs website, and feel free to make use of the trails that allows permits. It it the best rides out there. http://www.tygerbergmtb.co.za/

    Argus 2014

+1000 first year of not racing. stopped at all the waterpoints, had some cold ones at every single pub where music played. The shooters in Houtbay was maybe a bad idea. We squeezed in on 5:40 odd... hic!
  13. If is was the driver, i would've ran over their bikes. fkn @ssholes
  14. I am using gotorskins on my trainer (realaxiom elite) , and found almost no wear on the tyre. I've been riding with the same tyre on and off the trainer for 5000km. no issues
  15. I might be wrong, but the ratio between SRAM and Shimano is different Sram 1:1 and Shim 1:2. Front derailer you can put any make on, but rear derailler has to be model specific
  16. awesome tip thanks!
  17. nope.. game special
  18. i might be mistaken, but i do not think you get a 172.5mm on a mtb, only 170mm someone can confirm
  19. good luck guys.. to hard for me
  20. what is Slammer? or where?
  21. cyclelab has some posters up
  22. Lets look at this from a different angle. At first glance it seems like CTG feels victimised. Should they be? That may be. Do they have a stigma of poor etiquette, bad manners and horrendous riding skills? that may also be Is it because they are from a big club and now we like to name and shame? But I can promise you that all the people here share a similar feeling against CTG (and some others) . I have had issues with lots of bigger clubs in peletons (mohammadeya comes to mind). People shouting at the rest of the riders to keep left, get out the gutter, stay on the yellow line etc etc. i for one are very very gatvol of this, and that is the main reason that i mtb a lot more. One of these days i might just give one a PK. I don't have to listen to the attitudes or riders sprinting for a C bunch win, but we all endure it for the love of the sport. If it is true about them pushing guys from the road... i also have a daughter that rides, and i can promise you that i as a father will not take it kindly if some aggro wannabe took it out on her. I think that CTG should go and take lessons from the outriders. Now that is a proper club, and i would become a member instantly if they were in my area !
