Hey guys

I've got my eyes on this set of Mavic Crossmax ST's, but I'm confused with all the different options available.

I have a pretty much stock-standard 2009 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp. I guess the only important part on my bike with regards to this query is the fork: Fox F120 RL. As far as I am aware it's the "9mm open drop-out" version. The alternative being the 15QR thru-axle system which I'm pretty sure mine isn't from the photos I've seen.

So, essentially my question is: "Black 24h Pair F&R 9/15mm Front" <- why does that option mention 9 and 15mm for the front wheel? I have emailed CRC, but I'd like to hear some opinions from anyone on The Hub who may know.

Any input on this topic would be appreciated!

Thanks. :)

Hi, My Hope 2 front hub as an example takes all 3 versions with use of adaptors, so Its quite likely that the front hub has a adaptor to downsize to your 9mm and with swapping out adaptors you can fit a 15mm.

Thanks Bos. Reply from CRC:

Thanks for contacting us.

9/15mm means that you can convert the front hub to suit the fork. If your fork has standard 9mm (QR) dropouts you can use these wheels; or if your fork has a 15mm thru axle you can simply convert the hub and use these wheels.

We hope this helps.
