BTW how much you weigh Chris, my previous experiance with the suntour forks were they were actually quite good with lighter riders up to 85kg, but heavier than that the coil forks use to bottom out.

Though have no idea how good the air fork is, might want to check if there are reviews on www.mtbr.com

no need to be embarrased since im 94-96 depending on the day of the week lol. Hence the reason that I ask. I had the suntour xcr coil fork that came with the phoenix and found its brilliant for light wheights but not so good for us heavy boys.

So checkup on the new air fork thats on the 2011 phoenix. (though i suspect that it will be just fine)air forks are a lot more forgiving on those who weight a bit above race weight ;)

That fork on the Phoenix is a 2006 - 2008 Suntour fork. Maybe not so great. Any thoughts?

I see it doesn't have adjustable rebound. Does that matter?

I see the spec on the silverback site is wrong, it is not a Suntour Raidon LO Air which would be 2006 - 2008. It is in fact a 2011 Raidon LOD Air. I can tell by the graphics on the fork. Still no rebound but don't know if that is important.
