Stiffening a Suntour XCM

I am looking at a new bike but would like to know if it is possible to "stiffen" a Suntour XCM fork so that it could handle heavier loading?

 

I am not sure if it uses a coil / oil / elastomer material or a combination of these materials?

 

Could it be done?
