Contour (formerly VHoldR) are about to release the first helmet cam with integrated GPS receiver. Essentially you record your video, and when playing back using their software, your route, speed and elevation are shown on a map. Flippen kief.

 

How much fun is this going to be for recce'ing rides? Of course, let's hope it's compatible with the more popular GPS and mapping programs out there...

Yeh it's awesome !

 

I would suggest getting a spare battery and 2 memory stick's for longer rides. And I highly recommend the Lens Adapter Kit and a UV Filter lens to stop the sun from causing horrible vertical purple lines on the footage when riding straight toward the sun :)
