Converting a cannondale lefty to fit a standard shock

has anyone converted a cannondale scalpel or tuarine to run with a rock shock or fox 100mm front shock.

how did it effect the handling of the bike compared to the lefty. was it an improvement?

You just need a reducer headset. Without the Lefty a 'dale is just like any other MTB. Doubt the normal fork will change the performance. Maybe only weight wise.
