Noob geo question - longer fork on a hardtail

Simple question really, I have a Mongoose Tyax Super with a Rock Shox Tora coil (not the U-turn) - 100mm travel. What if I upgrade to a 120mm or even 130mm front fork (or maybe even the new Tora U-turn which can be set up to 130mm)... doable? or am I messing with the geo too much?

i've changed from 80mm to 100 without a problem, was tempted to go for 120 but was advised against it.
