Leatt brace is expanding it's product lineup...

Proto neck brace in black and white color scheme, reportedly 500g in weight, but loses vertical adjustments, apparently.

that body armor of LB's reminds me of Thor Sentinel chest protection.

If admin could split off the posts made starting here in the downhill thread, that would be ace. But following up from there, I some info from Decline Magazine.

Featuring a full carbon layup with CNC-machined buckles and stainless hardware, Leatt will be releasing a new mountain bike specific brace in November.

Called the DBX Pro, the new brace will be a half pound lighter than the current carbon Sport brace. The DBX Pro will offer side size pin adjustment as well as the thoracic adjustment in the rear while the fore and aft adjustments come preset. Compared to the adjustments offered on other Leatt models, the fore and aft adjustment of the DBX Pro will be set at the lowest setting in the front and slightly lower in the back than what the Sport offers.

The DBX Pro also incorporates several new features. The front and rear of the brace has vents to increase circulation and the padding is attached via rubberized pockets that capture and clip into the carbon brace in key areas.

The brace shown here is actually the motocross model called the Pro. Instead of yellow padding holders, the DBX Pro will be white.

More info over at Leatt-Brace.com

It seems they've just taken the braces and just verbally rehashed it to make it applicable for the various disciplines: moto, MTB, karting etc. I cant wait for the Leatt Brace for Walking and Running.

Body armour is looking pretty cyborg-ish, aka, pretty damn cool. :)
