How do you deal with the carbon brakes vs aluminium brake surfaces? My predicament, you can't choose wheelset on the day and they sometimes don't line, hence PT every change?

Rolf used to make the wheels for Trek then they had a fallout. He then went on his own

Elan clincher - 1340g

Dauphine clincher - 1325g

 

Carbon TdF38 SL tubular - 1105g and that is a 38mm aero wheel

 

He makes awesome aero wheels

The Rolf wheels are awesome looking, the front one appears to only have 7 spokes when you look at it

The clinchers are about the same weight as the R-sys, so they would not work for me.

 

They are simply stunning though, I keep on taking another look at the tubbies.
