Just unpacked my Garmin 310XT. Now I have to work out how it works.

I've had one of these for almost a year. It really is an awesome gadget and Garmin Connect is very handy when storing all your info and rides.

Really cool. I have always had Polar but I am impressed. Just a bummer the battery only lasts 20 hours and needs charging.

Garmin connect is really cool and so is the ANT+ technology, by the time I get back to my PC and sit down the data is already uploaded to Garmin Connect.

Chris just wondering why you chose that above lets say a forerunner 405, (too lazy to compare ) but it looks just so big and bulky.

I liked the big screen/large digits (I am old = blind). Was a toss up between Edge 500 and Forerunner 310XT but the 500 is limited to cycling.

I can never decide if I am going to concentrate on cycling or running, at the moment it is cycling so I have removed the strap and put on the 1/4 turn quick bike mount.
