Imported Bikes From China/Japan &Taiwan etc

Hi Guys,

 

My dad is in the "Sweets & novelties" business and brings in containers from various countries i.e. Brazil, Malaysia, China, Taiwan and a few others as well.

 

I am planning on bringing in bikes and parts from these countries as well, however i will be going over next year only to check things out & hopefully build up a few contacts.

 

In the mean time does anybody know where we can get bikes at good prices maybe factory/wholesaler etc in these countries ?

 

we get containers in on a weekly basis so supply shouldn’t be a problem.

 

all contents will inlcude Duty and vat we have a registered business.

 

If anybody knows of any places or wants stock from these countries PM we can chat and set up a meeting.

Looks like you will have to take a trip there to look for surpliers

Try look on www.alibaba.com or www.globalsources.com

 

I have found suppliers in the east using them.

try download the TBG (taiwanese bicycle guide). It's like a yellow pages cross catalogue of many of the manufacturers over there. Funny hting is... many of the names we know so well over here, are just rebranded stuff from Taiwan.

 

There's a lot of junk to sift through, but some awesome carbon hard tails with full XTR and SID forks and such.

 

I have a TBG, but mine is a few years old. Maybe it's time to get a new one, and see if there's anything I want you to bring in
