Looking at DH

I am looking at getting into some recreational DH. Looking for info on where the decent spots are to get a feel for it (in Cape Town), before possibly putting out in large outlay for upgrades etc.

Tokai: loose over clay hardpack, but conditions underwheel vary depending on certain parts of the various tracks. Something for every level of DH'er from novice to the outrageously stupid

Signal Hill: rocky, steep, dusty when dry, greasy when wet. has a little tree line track that's still a WiP (work in progress). Shuttling is a bit tedious, so pushups are best, but tiring. Track is short and steep.

Eden, Stellenbosch

Taal monument, Paarl: loose over clayhard, dusty when dry, greasy when wet. packtwo tracks both which start from the entrance to the taal monument. Very shuttleworthy.U can bang out 10 runs in no time. SOmething for everyone.

Jonkershoek, stellenbosch: loamy, dusty when dry, long and f'ing brilliant, especially in the wet. Its in a reserve, so no shuttles. Pushups order of the day.
