No we don't , it would be fantastic if you could enlighten us.

Ps: Did you even read the original post ?

Off course I didn't, why would I go and waste my time reading posts when I could rather focus my time on making unsubstantiated irrational claims..

My post has more to do with the general hub advise about brakes, which is bleed baby bleed... The braking system is this black box technology and the only surefire way to fix it is too bleed it. This has never been my experience though..

What problem would exist that bleeding the brakes would solve?

Good post, chickenrun4me.

If the lever pulls too far, all you need to do is get the pads a bit closer to each other. (I have explained how to do this already, you just help the "self adjusting" mechanism along a bit) No bleeding of the system required, the reservoir takes care of the ml or so (probably less) of extra fluid that is needed.

I have never worked on bicycle disc brakes but this theory of yours would not work on a car or motorcycle. Is the disc brake technology different on a bicycle? I have never heard of a self adjusting mechanism on hydraulic brakes

Thanx guys. u have just confused the hell out of me

I am going to mess around and see if I get it right. Knowing me I will stuff it up first and then only get it right after which I will have to go to my LBS and buy new brake system.
