Can any1 give me a review on the SB ventura please???

 

I've ordered mine but will only take ownership early

december (32 day wait on savings account witdrawal)

 

Just want to know what it feels like on the trails

I bought a SB Nebraska - which is pretty much identical to the Ventura - except 2010 model and different colours...

My 1st bike so I cant compare it to anything else - for now it meets my requirements - budget and no need to be uprading any time soon - since it has decent components already...

What i do like about the new SB's are not only incredible spec, but they also changed to better alu they now do the 6 series and not the 7 serires like previous years. there are a couple of guys that have bought the Spectra and they all seemed very pleased with it.

I have a Ventura in my garage together with an Anthem X2 and I must say that the Ventura is an incredible little machine. Just becareful when it comes to sizing, the SB frames are almost an inch smaller per size so the bike looks very small for a medium but trust me, it is perfect!

 

The shock is nice and plush for its spec and the brakes and gears are awesome.

 

The medium that we bought is under 12kg and climbs like a mountain goat.

 

I have never owned Alexrims so I cannot comment on the wheels but they are holding up just fine.

 

A great buy, you will not look back.
