does anyone who has one of these have hassles with the battery cord not connecting well with the wires from the lights?

this is the second one i've owned, and i found that if i don't tape the two together, it comes apart over the smallest of bumps in the roadAngry

other than that it provides great illumination

Witch batery do you have? The bottle cage one or the flat ni-pack? I get 2 hours on 10W, 1hr on 10W+5W, 4hrs on 5W I actually ran out of time (had to go to bed so could not finish test) when tried the 10W on dim. I like this light and will be using it in the 24hr aswell. Will be getting a second battery though but it's almost cheaper to get a whole system then just the battery.

Anyway, I do not have any problems with the cables either. They actually slide into each other if you apply just a bit of force. The charger to battery connection needs a little bit more persuasion but it does go it.

I know the silver parts slide into each other but the black plastic parts also does. It really makes a nice tight seal on mine.

got the smallest battery..think it is ni-pack...doesn't even last an hour

Is dit as jy altwee ligte saam gebruik?

Onthou net, jy kan nie die battery charge en eers oor 'n paar dae gebruik nie en jy kan ook nie dit op charge los nie. So jy moet maar 'n gewoonte maak om dit op charge te sit die aand voor jy die nodig het.

Got the heavy not so good batteries but they last me easily over 4 hours on 5 watts 2 hours on 10 watt.

Though you need to fully load em the first times and almost depleat em fully to.

If you only charge em half or deload em half or even worse totally defleat em then you are gonna kill the battery life very very fast.

Thats why they have the colour indications green orange(speed home) leave it till its turn red and then put it off and recharge the thing.

I love mine though regret not to have gone for the light battery pack.

About R800 but you get charger with it. Cheaper to buy a complete system.
