High Entry fees or No T-Shirt

I'd rather have the option to buy a shirt. There are some races that are worth remembering, and others that aren't.

As we all know, entry fees increase each year. These entry fees are to cover the shortfall between the events sponsorship in these tough economic times and the rising costs of staging events and having services.

 

Would you rather pay less and get less or pay more and get more?

 

If the T-Shitrs were well designed and sizing actually correct, then we might have some more votes for t-shirts. I have not done a single race where the organizers have given me well designed shirt that fits properly. Potentially such a nice marketing opportunity, but really lacks professionalism. Normally old stock T-shirts that did not sell that have been printed with the race logo-poor!

 

The medals on the other hand is a complete waste of money. Rather donate that portion of the entry fees to charity and develop the sport in less privileged societies.
