reba or sid reba or sid. choices choices choices.

for your bike get a reba team you get the option of 120mm travel if you want( did plenty of home work I got one for 4200 in the end from my local LBS better than CWC price) and they are far stiffer than the Sid ( racing snakes ) My Reba team with the lockout moef weighed 1650g my Tora was 2000G + The Fox is great but they are a little more pricey and cost more to maintain but none the less still a great second hand option

I see I-cycling has some XT rims( 2900 new) I might get a new set and will be flogging the old ones will let you know

You cant ride an Anthem with those rims bud

I dont know the weight of the XT but have you considered the AM Classics? They are pretty light and tarmac sl3 is selling them for R4250. Tarmac if u reading this I hope I get some kickback?

wapad if you paid R4.2k i assume you got the reba RLT Ti?

got the Reba team 80-120 mm I bought it in August I think the RLT is the 2011 which was on the market but not locallyl but generally all the same

The team has blackbox motion control and the floodgate system which means you can set the travel when locked out, the reba is also dual air so lots of settings to fiddle with. but to be fair not a lot of difference in feel to my Fox RL maybe a little plusher due to it being new and also I wanted remote lockout for races

The bottomline was I wanted to try different things and I am happy with the purchase

Ended up being cheap skate and buying a Reba RLT instead of the RLT Ti, will see how she goes :D, anybody got one and weighs over 90kg would be interesting to hear what you used in your setups.

I would start with + 120 and - 100-110

Theres loads about the set up on the net as I understand the + wil sort the sag and the - small bump absorption

cant remember my rebound and floodgate settings away from home written on a cupboard in the garage

my settings are close to the manufactures

om my fox I was only running at 80-90 psi

so they are very different shocks to setup

one thing is for sure there will be massive improvement on the tora
