training for sani in WC

hi guys - so im training for the sani ( i know its 6months away but im not fit etc)

i stay in durbanville area, i would like to do a nice long ride including meerendal en hillcres. but how do i get from meerendal to hillcrest? i heard there is some sort of gate or something? i am a tmtbc member so allowed riding there.

I wouldnt ride alone there, A jealous MTBer might just push you off your bike

Just find a nice long steep mountain and go up and down a few times a week.
