Hallo all fellow hubbers and cyclists. We at Chris Willemse cycles needs your help and support. We are planning to make many children hearts happy this year by donating what ever we can to them this Christmas. We ask you please to collect new and old toys, cycles, unwanted gifts , old clothing and anything that you think that will make a child happy.

Bring it or send it to Chris Willemse Cycles and we will make sure that it will get donated to these kids who normally do not get anything for Christmas.

We are also planning a short ride on Thursday 16th December from CWC. If the motorbikes riders can do it why not us?

I am looking forward to get your response and support on this gift day.

Plenty people will be away from the 16th.

How about bringing it forward to the weekend before?

Make it a REALLY easy ride, and I should be able to organise a 7 year old Hubber-let too.

Chris, good on you for doing this. Toy Run Gauteng is including cyclists this year - so if we do a good job on saturday and you do a good job on the 16th then maybe next year Toy Run countrywide might do a cycling event - imagine how AWESOME that would be

Great. The ride will REALLY be an easy ride. The reason for the 16th is because it is a holiday and the roads will not be so busy. Come , we need your support on this. Bring that hydration pack. It does not matter what you bring.

We visit a area yesterday and it is so sad to see young children playing in the dust with nothing. Then only do we realize how fortunate we are.

I am in on the ride. Do we bring our gifts before hand, or on the day of the ride? Will be visiting your shop later today for a few gifts for myself, ie. Lizzard Skins and more, and by participating in this awesome initiative I will alleviate some of the guilt for spending so much cash on my toys!

Chris, I'm so glad that it sounds like your ride is going to be succesful.

I'm very disappointed in the turnout up here and even more sad that we (the Toy Run) weren't able to collect enough gifts to meet all the requests we got :(

Hi Slowpoke. Do not be disappointing. Just start advertising it long before the ride next year.Lets hope that our one will get some support. How long was your ride? Our one will not be to long because we want some young kids to ride as well.

Chris, we did an easy 25km - a bit further than would be ok for little kids but easier than previous big hub rides have been. seems hubbers are losing their touch :-(
