Left valve - Normal valve

Middle valve - UST valve

Right valve - Valve from tubeless converted wheel (non-UST rim)

Want to convert normal wheels to tubeless and when I came back from the bikeshop, I saw that they gave me a UST valve and a normal valve.

Can I still use the UST valve on the normal rims? Will be using stans rim tape?

I really don't feel like going back to the shop to exchange the valves

Valve on the right is from my tubeless converted DT Swiss X1800 wheelset and it almost looks the same as the UST valve.

I've used a shimano, mavic and a joes valve on my wheels. All of them work if the thread is deep enough to pull the valve tight enough on the rim. But the Joes one was easiest.

Just tape the rim, tighten valve, chuck in the stans, and inflate quickly. I usually go to the garage for this.

But I reckon the left one is your winner.

The one on the right looks like an olympic valve which is made for use in ZTR rims with the yellow tape the middle is also looking almost the same these are ZTR specific.

If you are using normal rims with the yellow tape I would use the one on the left.

Dont know if you have used the tape before but when you do pull that stuff so hard that you arms ache you want it so so tight on the rim to avoid leaks at the valve.

On the ZTR site there is a nice video on the tape worth a watch before you apply the tape and remember pull it tight!!!
