Looking for a 29r. Got me thinking about the frame size. If I currenly ride a 19 inch would i still order a 19 inc. Thinking of getting a Gary Fisher Deluxe 29, any thoughts. Get them at a very good price but need to preorder so I want to get it right the first time. BTW what excatly does the 19 inch revers to?

Cant wait

It's the distance from the centre of crank to the top edge of seat tube, so 26 or 29 wheel size will not influence your riding position. I'm guessing they will drop down the BB more to compensate for 1.5" extra ground clearance.

I've found that my riding position is higher on my 29er compared to my old 26er. This makes for a much more aggressive riding position to what I'm used to, and did cause some lower back pain. But some tweaking to the stem and it's much better now.

I guess it will be different for each bike though...

Forget about the frame size - each manufacturer has their own way of measuring this. Go by effective top tube length. Make sure it's the same as your current (well fitting?) bike and you'll be fine.
