Which XC or Marathon Bike

I am going to America for a year next year and would like to purchase a XC or Marathon dual suspension bike to bring back home with me.

 

With a budget of $2500.00, which bike would you recommend?

Surely you should ask this on a US or International forum as they will have a better idea on where to get bargains.

Google it you will get so many results it will take you a year to settle on a bike. In the USA they have so many brands it will make your head spin
