i want to buy a DH bike in Jo-Berg and i live in Cape Town, not sure though if it a good idea because i will have never seen the bike,so if something is wrong with the bike, i cannot see it untill i get it and by then it will be to late to say no....any 1 got ideas on what i could do?

Have a chat to the owner, if he knows his bike is a sure thing, then maybe do a 50% transfer? and if you don't want it send it back.

 

I always like to chat by cell to the owner if he live in another province before I buy a frame or full bike, It helps to get a feel for the guy if he is willing to chat and wwork out whats works for you both...

 

TRUST! Its hard, but sometimes it works.

 

I have bought 3 bikes and over the hub, and all 3 times I never had a problem. :drool: :thumbup:

Ok yea....ive spoken to him already...sounds like a good guy...do any of you live near santone and can look at the bike? he says he takes it regualy to Mikes Bikes shop...do any of you know it?
