Take it from the left turn into OKW, up until the highest point on OKW (My garmin gave me 302m above sea level) I'm interested to know how fast A and B went up there... time : 11:31distance : 3.57kmspeed : 18.6km/helev change : +231m fyi - Its VERY similar to pumpstation in gordons bay

I did intervals there last week and I did 9:45 from the military base turn off to the top (silvermine dam turnoff). The military base turnoff is 300m up from the lights where okw starts. But in B group I am certain we went faster than this (I don't have the data though). Clive Seebrechts and Spaceboy were the 1st guys up and I'm pretty sure they did my route above in under 9. Pretty sure I went faster than Tuesday as well maybe by 15 to 30 seconds.

So if you add 1:20 to 9:45, it gives you 11:05 which is prolly a bit slower than what A did... i.e. - they were fking off....

Pretty sure Clive is climbing pretty much at the same pace as him. he said 8 of them went over the top together. i'll see if i can find his time up there

Ok so I got spat out the back of A bunch like I was looking for somewhere to rest my bike while I brewed an Espresso...but yeah. 6.1% grade @ 19.6kmph Edited January 11, 2011 by Tarmac-SL3
