Hi all, i am looking to build up my spare bike with campag. The cheaper the better. I have wheels already but i need the groupset. I would prefer to get 10 speed mirage brand new or 2nd hand, but good 2nd hand.

If i cant get 10 speed at a good price, then i will go xenon 9speed and convert the rear wheel to 9sp.

Anyone got anything they wanna sell me?

Not sure what your price range is' date=' but Solomons was advertising Ultra Torque Veloce groupsets for R1999. I'm sure they can ship to CT.

Hi velo, hope you are well! Smile These projects at work are keeping me quite busy. I am hounding Marius Kruger all the time for help, i think i am driving him insane LOL Wink

Yes, you are right velo, i actually called them yesterday about that. the grouspet is a mix of xenon and mirage but essentially 9sp. The only thing not making me go for that is the crank arms are 170mm, so if i get that i might spin a bit too much.

I would prefer to go 10sp, but price is a factor. I have not discounted them. I mgiht still go for them. But thanks for the heads up Thumbs%20Up

As long as you having more fun than in Joburg. I heard you guys are a bit understaffed, but at least you are getting good experience.

Solomons must have made a mistake in their ad then. The picture in the ride mag was of a 2007 Veloce group for 1999. What crank length are you after?

Yeah we are quite understaffed Confused Work is good though, nice experience, we are working with Spring and Hibernate, all new to me, so it is great.

I think i should give them a call again and see what they say.

I am looking for 172.5mm crank arms
