Hi All

I have an old Schwinn Fastback frame that was left over when I bought my girlfriend at the time a new frame and wheels.

I have had the frame in my garage for 2 years now and was looking at it today wondering what I could do with it other than selling it. So I thought, hey why not give it to someone who wants but doesn't have a bike. Then I thought, but it has no parts so will probably just sit around.

So then I thought to get onto the HUB and see if anyone is interested in helping?

Does anyone have any parts that are currently just lying around that you could put toward this project. Single shifters, wheels, brake calipers, etc. It only needs to function safely and doesn't even have to be a set. I am sure if we all put in what we can give we can come up with a complete bike in good, safe working order.

I am going to check at the local races to do some scouting for potential people who I could give this bike to. Also maybe going to check out the guys and girls who currently hang out at the triathlons as I know there where guys there that wished they could do the sports but never had the gear.

Anyway, if anyone is interested to help let me know. Thanking you in advance.

My sister asked me If I would build her a bike. And I have some parts but need a frame. :)

What size frame you need? Mine is a small one.

Is she someone who can afford to buy one? I don't mean to be funny, but I meant for the bike to go to someone who really wants a bike, but cannot afford it.

Small is fine.

Do you have the wheels, groupset, alles?

Kind of was looking forward to building one myself here. But, lets see the response before I decide and how the list goes.

Break, you seem to be in the know... Do you calculate your heart rate % of your total or HR reserve?

To be honest I don't train with HR. Use a Power meter.

If I had to choose right now though I would base heart rate zones much the way you choose power zones and that would be similar to setting zones between resting heart rate and max heart rate.
