Road ride - Broadacres Spar

Anybody keen to meet at Broadacres Spar at 5:00am (time is negotiable) sometime this week for a 100km loop? I am also keen for Saturday or Sunday if there are any takers

Any takers? I am keen for Wednesday morning. Not too fast, my average on Saturday was 23.5 so you could probably keep up on an MTB

Chris, start the engen classic at 5 on a Wednesday. There is normally a long bunch there. Avg is close or over 30 thou. There are one or two guys that drop of the back. I leave at 04h30 to get up to Engen by 5. Then you can stop at Broadacers when you pass there at the end of the loop.

Thanks, I will give that a try. Maybe I am lucky and don't get dropped on my own but even if I do I don't mind riding alone. I used to ride with them about 4 times a week but that was probably 5 years ago

 

Lucky this morning I was running a little late, as I was leaving it started raining so I went back to bed

Thanks, I stopped past this afternoon and checked with the guys. 6am Tuesday - Saturday. I am pretty sure I will get dropped until I get fit but I don't mind completing the ride on my own. I will probably get dropped on that first hill on Cedar

I stayed with them to the top of the Cedar hill but the hump over the highway just after that killed me so I did 50km on my own
