vinylguy Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 hi all ok so to save space i want to hang my mtb bikes from the wall in garage ie as if you were riding up the wall is it good or bad for the fork?? any advice??
David Marshall Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 That's how most shops store them. Wont affect fork at all. Also you can hang them from the back wheel if you are worried.
andretraut Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I have also noticed that most bike workshops hang bikes this way, however a fork expert once told me that decent air forks are best cared for it the upright position, better for the oil and seals. I am no expert myself, but it makes sense.
