Roulier Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I just heard that one of the U16/Junior Girls was bumped by a car during the race this afternoon, does any one have any details and know if she is alright. Went past this cyclist on the 2nd lap lying on the side of the road. Seemed to be in a lot of pain, but no external injuries immediately noticeable. Happened on LaRoche Drive just before the Strandfontein intersection robots towards the sea. Not too sure what happened, but a silver half ton bakkie was involved. I missed the accident so do not want to speculate about the details surrounding the accident though.
