I have heard and read many great comment - hence we giving them a go. Im willing to write it off due to the Argus but jeez who knew buying a bike or getting a price would be so hard.

CROWN has been around for as long as I've been riding a bike ... or should I say trike.

I don't think they've ever focussed on sales, so don't expect a great sales pitch instore or telephonically.

They don't try to sell you something your don't want or need, but rather address your needs as described to them.

They try and cater for all, from kiddies bikes to pedigreed race machines.

They carry a fair range of brands, equipment and accessories, and can almost always get you what you want if it's not a stocked item.

So yesterday on my way home, my rear hub was making a noise, and I took it into Crown to have it checked, I was expecting Mark to just confirm that it was the bearing and then order etc...

 

He replaced the bearings while I waited and when I left noise gone and am very happy.

 

Also cost of bearings was anything from R350 a set to R900 for the original ones, mine was replaced labour and parts for much less than the R350 so I was pleasantly surprised there as well.

My experience with Mark is quite different. quick to change out components when not necessary. Trying to bargain with Gary anf Hilton is not easy, though they remain always friendly and courteous. If you looking to bargain try Bridge rather, but friendly service you'll always find at Crown
