Chavez Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 So I ordered me a Garmin Edge 500 for my upcoming birthday...this is from the missus I got told today that the mother in-law is struggling to decide on a gift for me and the missus was tasked to subtly fish my end to find out what I wanted So seeing as I didn't order the Edge 500 bundle I thought here's my moment to do some upgrades before I've even gotten the main order What Speed/Cadence Bike Sensor can I get for the Edge 500 and where locally (SA)?

Alternatively any decent cycling shop that stocks Garmin products should be able to order the correct speed/cadence sensor. The part number is 010-10644-00 Price should be in the region of about R500-00.(I bought an extra one about a month ago.)

Don't bother, I was looking for a bike mount and they say I must wait 4 weeks. I am getting it from CRC and probably half the price
