After getting a order from CRC in two different boxes and having to pay dubel vat on the order I have decided to convince crc to split the invoice when they have to send a order in two parts to SA I know my chances are slim but can't do harm to try.

But I need your help if this has happened to you two send me a pm with your e-mail address you use to log onto crc and the order number and any other information, of what when and where.

If this has not happened to you but you are concerned it might send me you login e-mail with a note of support and if that is to much trouble just add a +1 to the thread to show support.

AND PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING NEGOTIVE TO SAY ABOUT ORDRING FROM CRC GO OPEN YOUR OWN THREAD, and don't respond to a post like that please keep the thread on topic

I just recieved a CRC order where they put my workstand in one box and all my other stuff in a seperate box from the same order.

At post office they put the total order value to each box and so double vat.

I didn't pay or take the parcels but explained what was wrong and they sent it back for re evaluation.

Took a week but then I just paid the one correct vat amount and 25 rand handling fee for the other box

sounds like a post office problem not a CRC problem.....you're lucky the PO still asessed your shipment, rules state that over R500 value and you need to have a Customs broker declare it for you......

I had the same problem. picked up the parcel in 2 pieces on 2 seperate days and had to pay double VAT. Emailed CRC and complained. They refunded me the extra VAT.

I have since asked then to mail all my stuff together or make out seperate invoices.

Great service CRC.

BTW, i also receive great service from CWC. Ordered something at 4pm and got it b4 10am the next day. reat communicators.
