Pic 1 is Frame on couch (sorry guys, no Leather for me as yet)

Pic 2 is Frame with groupset

Pic 3 is of damage to paint where chain damaged it

Pic 4 is of paint chip on top tube.

Damage to chainstay sanded down and sprayed with clearcoat and wrapped with cloth tape (same as used in Motor industry to tape up wiring looms.)

The measurements look all right.  The seat post is to short.  The front end will depend on how much spacers there is on your current bike. Angleling the stem up may help.  I like your plan for the chain stay protector.  <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I am still concerned about the front end as I have a good couple of spacer on my current frame, and where to find the correct diameter seatpost (about 31.8-32mm) in the right length.

Wannabee, don't bother with seat post length. That can be adjusted with the seat post. The most important is the top tube, or vitual/effective top tube on a compact. And lookign at the difference between the Monoc and Daccordi, there is not much, only the wheel base. That can be because the head tube is a bit more relaxed or the fork has got more rake.

Most MTB use 31.8 seatpost.

Good thing its 31.8, since most are available in lengths of 350 to 400 mm. Like Mampara says, it looks like the Monoc will be a more relaxed comfortable ride with the longer wheelbase.

 

Looks to me like things will workout fine. Just build it now and go for a ride!

Still got my concerns regarding the frame actualy being the right size, so I think I will sell it off and get a frame I KNOW will be right size.

 

Anyone looking for a Monoc frame?
