Good evening Hubbers

I was advised by my local bike-shop that my Polar watch might if I'm lucky be returned in another 2 weeks. It was courier to J-burg last week Thursday!! Hows it possible?? The excuse is: Polar is a week behind schedule!!

 

I feel lost riding without it. Anyone else having the same issue with Polar?

I spoke to Polar yesterday as I'm having problems with my WearLink. They said I could come by anytime and someone should be able to help me...

Most probably the LBS collected all the Polars and then sent them to Jhb in one parcel to save costs. You might have been the first in the queue for the parcel. Now they are hiding behind Polar (always easy to hide behind the supplier / service provider)

 

Why not phone Polar, and enquire about your watch? You should have the serial number, etc on the papers from the LBS.

Just got my stuff back from Polar. Sent it on the monday, it was logged into their system on tuesday...then there was a 6 working day back log. Finally got it back on the monday, two weeks later. They said that Jan/Feb is their busiest time of year. You can always give them a call and ask where in the queue your watch is.

 

In future, i would advise you sending it there yourself. A counter 2 counter back at the Post Office is R52.00 and it's overnight.

Battery replacement.

 

Apparently, it is fixed after a long queue, and Polar did not pick it up at the P O for 14 days...

 

Tch, tch, tch! :blink:

 

Been racing and training on raw instinct for more than a month now.

It's actually been lekka. ;)
