  1. And if the rear washes out die to loose over hard. Aren't better tyres better. Like Crossmark worse than Assegai for this?
  2. Accept R16k?
  3. On my sola silverback it's also lifetime for original
  4. I was deep cleaning. And after saw stickers on wheel and paint on tyres come off
  5. They are like the icon. Good if you use the middle part only. I m thinking part of me falling the other day was die to this. But I habe a surprise coming from @RobertWhitehead.
  6. Thanks. I saw some at a clients house ans saw on the back it's good. I'm struggling to go uphill on stones with crossmarx. The torque is to much a d the grip to little. So we spin. And it drains you.
  7. How good is the grip on loose stones and soft going uphill
  8. Alot of strait and easy driving I see
  9. I learnt last weekend that degreaser removes the yellow very fast
  10. I would rather walk than do this much idt. I hate it. I only do it because the coach forced me to in the week for intervals
  11. I agree. I habe been getting some mean deals on the hub. Yes you get less for more than 5 years ago. I got a silverback sola 4 for 7500 new in 2016. With deore parts. Now similar will be 14k new. But also I can't get more Tha. 5-6k. For it. Used. I got a titian racing 24" for 1500. I see dual sus going new for 15-25k with decent parts, and new if you see it at that price it has microshift gears and an xcr fork. Cheap stuff. Real cheap. So ja if a person says stuff is too expensive and compares 5 years old dual sus with new dual sus at same price and says it's expensive. Do they know parts and value difference, over time. Because I can't compare a older merida big nine dual to a new Titan Cypher entry level or a new silverback straits vs 2015 Stratos. That's like saying my 2010 hikux is expensive because it's more than a Tata new. This is normally a sign that you ignorant about prices in a certain industry. I believe you me. The country is financial suffering. I do electrical and security work. And people are going with out it more and more.
  12. A towbar unit with a normal chain and lock and don't park in dangerous places. I regularly go to shops less than 10min on Saturdays after my ride. I still have my bike. Have a used holdfast I think platform one.
  13. This cost R80 and cuts easy. I use it to do farm electric fences. And to cut fences when in firefighting. If that cable is 8mm I need 3 tries if 6mm I need 2
  14. You are right. This is happening on all industies. Prices are going to be forced to drop. I see it all over
  15. They are a probleem.
  16. 12v is simple yes, but wiring systems not so much. Especially these days.
  17. I agree here. The type and quality of shoe makes a big difference. When I was trying to find wide enough clip less shoes I could feel the difference between tjebmrp / decathlon and the lake/specialized shoes. Even with flats. But unfortunately all are still to narrow for me. I habe short wide feet( plaas pote) and normal tekkies arw the worst. When soles are wet.
  18. No that's the cheap ones you give guys on site get the up one. When I get home Wil take Pic. These cheaper ones are uncomfortable and get hot and stink.
  19. Both have extra wide. So they fit nicely if you have extra wide feet.
  20. These are interceptor ones from chamberlains. R600 the others I use for this and work is Bova hiker. But a bit heavier. Both feet feels good after. No hot foot. I went 3:17 today and 1000m climb and still going to do so tiling at home. Later. I'm tired legs tired but feet fine.
  21. I'm allergic to people servicing my stuff. You never really know if it's done properly. That includes cars etc
  22. https://www.specialized.com/za/en/2fo-roost-clip-mountain-bike-shoes/p/187391 Here is a link of the specialized ones I'm referring to. The come in just flat aswell.
