  1. Ironically, not as a result of Seth Stinkydom. He actually seems like a cool dude. He definately has a point. Roadies are wierd.
  2. This I can contribute to
  3. Brad, you coming with us on a jump bike / slopestyle bike spruit rip this weekend? Daft Vader2009-10-07 09:43:14
  4. Slightly off topic... A couple of years ago I was in the market for a longer travel full bouncer. Bigger than a 575. Had a look at the Rogue, the Epiphany an Orange Patriot 66 and the Yeti AS-X. Ellsworth were nice, but the cheap acid wash look didn't impress. Cost of the Ellsworths were prohibitive. Orange Patriot was nice, the cheapest of the bunch but lacked the build quality of the other 2 brands. Yeti had the pedigree, the build quality and a do-able price. If you want a more exclusive ride, get the Ellsworth. The Yeti is as capable but quirky frame shape doesn't do it for me. A properly painted EW would probably look the shizzle. If you're willing to cut your left testicle off.... As for performance, I think they're all pretty much the same...
  5. actually I responded to the first posting you dumb poephol... noticed the drivel on the last page...
  6. Ok, now this post is a complete waste of time.
  7. Seth has a point....
  8. For me, this is the best, coz I can ride longer distances on it, AND I can play at the fun sections...
  9. Seeing as there are freebie test rides. Can I test one? I'm very gentle on bikes... (You'll have to sign a disclaimer in case the frame breaks though)
  10. Azonic does have a point though. So take the good out of it. The lesson here... Elbows UP (like a MX Rider), relax and be supple. That way you absorb the drops much better. AND KEEP YOUR WEIGHT BACK DUDE. Big up for him getting back on the pony though.
  11. Nice work Hogaliscious.... Let me know when you're scooting up the stinky spruit again. I'll get some airwolf shots of you...
  12. I'm keen.
  13. I think it probably will. They're not cheap though...
  14. I have ridden both XT and Juicy. I have never been able to pull a stoppie with XTs. They never bite hard enough for me. I constantly pull stoppies with Juicy 5s. I actually gave my set of XTs away for free. My GF bike also has XT's. I was testing it for a while and rode the bike for a week. When I went back to my bike with the Juicy 5s on, I hit the brakes with the same force as I was using on the XTs and I went over the bars and broke my wrist. The only brakes I ride now other than Juicy 3s or 5s is Avid Code. Essentially the mother of all Juicys. I have made one improvement to my Juicy's though, which improves the feel and power even more, and that's a conversion to Goodridge hoses. Not only do they look superb, but the modulation and power increases as well. Use it, don't use it.
  15. I was thinking about it, but decided to go for XC build. Couldn't bring myself to put a XC stem on it though. They look thin and weak.
  16. It's a 15" frame, so it will be VERY chuckable. I will take some detail shots for you.
