I sat on the back of Uwe's bakkie (sorry backup vehicle for Team SAfindit) and although we were nr 2 in the convoy, it is still not the most advantageous place to shoot from , but had such a good time. And a good laugh -- but please ask Uwe about that -- its his story only to tell

Riaan is in Louis Leipoldt Hospital. He has a # collarbone, rib or two. He will probably be operated on as soon as they are happy about his head injury. But he sounds in good spirits. (and I have NO pics of that spectacular double crash - first Riaan doing a 360, and then Hannes repeating the movement after and over him! can't believe i forget about the camera in my hand when this happens!!)

Just to show the countryside - its quite beautiful here - the organisation is very good so far, the riders had road closure for the TT and they seem to have a lot of attention to detail ... so here's hoping the complete results will be available soon. Prize giving/medal ceremony is tonight at 18h00
