  1. Hi Fellow Hubbers If any of you out there have done any riding on the Krugersdorp Hill of recently and have taken the chance to wind and navigate your way down "The Crevasse" http://app.strava.com/activities/97126567#2068253227 you will know what I'm talking about when I say this piece of trail "BLOWS YOUR MIND". "Hang on and keep your eyes fixed on whats coming up next" - kind of trail. I want to know if there are restrictions or if anyone knows what the limits are to trail building in those hills, this specific piece of trail can do with some work to make it slightly more ride-able instead of the stop start walk that it is. I really think that we can make this something spectacular for both the normal MTB riders as well as getting the DH guys (serious potential) involved. If anyone is keen to help work on the trail or knows who is building the trail on top of the hill, lets get chatting.
  2. Deal is still on, buddy of mine picked up 2 helmets on Friday. Agree, Deal of the year!!
  3. Have you had a look at the Cratoni helmets at the Ghost shop in Laser park JHB. I tried one on and felt it was a better fit than the Sterling but I guess everyone has a different pip. Good solid helmets in my opinion.

  6. His budget is 20k not 200k. Starting out I would say get what you feel is comfortable, shop around get an idea of what is our there when it comes to kit. Ask your buddies what they using and check with your bike shop what they recommend.
  7. Hey D Where you looking and What's your budget? The Vida 1 is an awesome bike and for a 29er it stands out above many. It's s really great bike
  8. Bingo and most Brakes need a similar attachment as to what you have use. i was fortunate enough to have a good relationship with my LBS and they opened up a Bleed kit that had multiple attachments and let me try the one i needed, with some looking around at the local hardware and at Westpack in Randpark ridge I manages to pick up the rest of the kit (hoses, Syringe & clear sauce bottles) and BOBs your uncle i now have a solid bleed kit. Always check with you Brake user manual to make sure you bleed properly! Most Brakes have one online

  11. Hi hi, I have no cooking clue how Shimano codes work and was wondering who can help me out. I want to know which of the 2 (M596 or M615) are the better Brakes? I had a pair of their SLX on my old bike and became a huge fan of their Brakes and want to get a set but have also hear that the Newer versions of the Deore matches up against the SLX & XT versions. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. D

  17. Awesome so what everyone is saying is that I should use Steellite but check their work or rather go to Speedy or Hi-Q. Thanks
  18. I completely agree with getting it all done properly and by a legit fitter but I'm just looking to use it for bike racks. Have you seen the size of a Cerato's boot, no need for a trailer. The Mob bosses of yester year would be proud to use this car. Thanks guys
  19. Hey all, I'm looking for a towbar for a Kia Cerato & Rio sedan. is there anyone who has or knows where I can get one for a good price. I've had a good look and what I've found is that i can get a new one from most dealers and fitters for about R2000. Im not looking for any electrical work to go with it just the basic towbar. Gauteng based only. Thanks fellow Hubbers
