  3. I Managed to get hold of someone at Groupon, did some sweet talking and asked her to check and see exactly when they will be releasing the stock. All she managed to pull up was hat they have recieved the stock and each item has a Tracking number, which means they should be ready for dispatch. She told me that she could not see anything else from there and will send my Tracking number up to the Delivery Team and they will get hold of me. I then received this email: Good day Darren, We hereby acknowledge your request and will escalate it to our Delivery query Department. Summary of request: Customer not on the list User ID:70293596 Deal:Pay R1 399 for a state of the art Bryton Rider 35T GPS cycling computer including heart rate monitor and speed/cadence sensors and national delivery, valued at R2 999 (save 53%) Billing ID:114274669 Should you require any further assistance, please contact us on 0861 GROUPON (476 8766). 8. I managed to get hold of Groupon late yesterday afternoon and and they told me that they have not redeemed the stock from Ballistic and will only be doing so within the week, I then received this email following my phone call. Please be advised that this product is a Groupon Good. When you made payment and entered your delivery address in the space provided, you automatically redeemed your voucher. I can confirm delivery will take place within 3 to 4 weeks from redemption. You will however receive sms/call notification when your delivery will be on its way. Should you require further assistance, do not hesitate to call our customer service department 021 401 0700 during office hours. Kind Regards, Loyiso
  9. Ive been trying to get hold of Groupon for 3 days and they dont answer calls and they dont reply to their customer service email either! Obviously we are all impatient and want to get our Brytons ASAP but like they say good things come to those who wait!
  10. I have a set of Hayes Stroker Ryde Hydraulic Brakes and they are not doing so well, when I pull the bake lever the piston take for ever to kick back. In the mean time I have to ride around with floppy levers till it decides to sort its self out. I have had a chat to my bike shop where i bought the bike and they have suggested that i take the whole lot off and send it down to Cycles Africa in CPT but that means I do not have brakes for a month while they sort it out and post it back. Is there anyone in JHB who knows of or who can do this or is there a way I can do it myself (pretty Tech Savvy)?

  14. It does sound like a plan I would like to come do a MTB ride with you guys some time to see what trails you have, we are also trying to organize some morning rides in the Radiokop/Ruimsig area. We start at the Virgin Active in the Lifestyle Centre on Hendrik Potgieter around 5 to 5:30. We have a few routes that vary from 30min to 2hours if you want to do something a little longer. All the trails we ride on are really fun and have a mixture of both open trail to technical single track. If there is anyone that wants to join us please let me know or follow the @IgniteMTB handle on Twitter, I'll be posting about morning rides soon.
  15. I support Solomons all the way, great guys in the shop and always willing to help. I've bought plenty stuff from them and would recommend them to everyone I ride with. I got a chance to ride Sani2c this year but was only told about my entry on the Thursday before we had to go down, I popped into Solomons on Friday and he sorted me out with all my spares on an account all I had to do was pay for what I used on Sani2c and bring back or purchase what was left. I now just pop in to say hi and have a look around to see whats new.
  16. Done, Always look forward to these events. Keep an eye out for the Ignite Boerie rolls at registration, all the money raised from what we sell helps our riders out with new kit and race entries (and pays for our beers at the Braai Zone at the Nissan Events) hahahah.
  17. The "soapy water solution" Ive never heard of that one. Why?
  18. Hey Guys I have been trying to get more information on doing a Tubeless Conversion to a 29er wheel set (Jalco Big.9), the conversion I did n my 26" with a 20" BMX Tube works like a bomb and i have had no problems with it. Now the question I'm asking is there anyone out there that has done the same but to a 29er? I've tried to do a bit of research on it and I've found that you have to get yourself a 24" Tube but the problem is that they only come in Schrader Valve not Presta Valve and client is not willing to take the risk of drilling his valve hole slightly bigger to fit a Schrader. The other thing I've heard is that there have been a few guys that have tried and come out unsuccessful even using the Stans or Joes Tubeless conversion kits supplied buy cycle stores. If there is anyone out there that has successfully converted a 29er to tubeless please let me know what you did!!!
  19. Hey Guys and Gals, Don't forget that Ignite Products will be hosting their Braai Zone at the next Nissan Trail Seeker events. We will have the braais hot and ready for you with tables and chairs for you and you friends or family to utilize. We will also have a Gazebo set up that will have someone manning it at all times so that you can bring your cooler boxes down to the start line when you come down with you bike and leave it with us. We will give you a sticker a number that will match your one on you cooler box so that no one and nothing goes missing. Don't forget to bring you own meat and drinks!!!!!
  20. Oh you bet ill be there Ignite MTB will be in full force for this one!
  21. Hey Martin have a look here and see what you can organize http://www.facebook.com/MountainBiking777
  22. I cant decide on which shoes to buy Shimano XC50 or Specialized Sport MTB? I've tried them both on and they are super comfortable but now I have to choose one! Please help anyone
  23. I am wondering if anyone out there can help me? I am looking for a new or used MTB Crank and BB for my bike. i am not looking to spend thousands as my bike doesn't justify parts that cost that much! The reason being, I have Truvativ Crank and have worn the second chain ring out. I cannot replace the chain ring because it is a solid unit. Its been 4 long years with some serious riding so I though i might as well do the BB well I'm at it. Dimensions: Crank: 42-32-22 BB: 68-115 If anyone can help please let me know!
