  1. I am doing the full, I have only ever done one 42km to qualify. Getting slightly nervous Does anyone have any tips?
  2. Thanks this sounds pretty good I will give them a call.
  3. The R600 includes the license but no kit.
  4. I have just started running marathons and have discovered that if you want to run any of the major races you have to belong to a club. You also have to run in the clubs kit or you are not allowed to do the race. My local club wants to charge me R600 to join so I can get a license. It is not like riding where you can buy a temp license before the event. I have no interest to join a club, but obviously is required. My question is which is the cheapest club to join so i can get a license to be able to run the 2 Oceans marathon?
  5. I bought an armband/pouch from Sportsmans warehouse which works well.
  6. Endomondo is awesome been using it for a month. I used to use Sporty Pal and this is much better. I ran a marathon with it and it gives you a reading every km, average speed and obviously distance. Once you load it onto the website you get all the graphs, which is great feedback. I would like to get a HR monitor for my Black Berry, does anyone know where I can get one?
  7. I love my shaved legs one of the best feelings ever. Especially when you get into bed and touch your leg by mistake, feels like there is a girl lying next to you.
  8. Check on the Stillwater website, the run as well as the bike profile is on there.
  9. I am also doing the Xterra. The swim worries me as I tried 400m non stop in the gym yesterday and nearly drowned. If you did the swim and run in cycling shorts, would it be a big problem?
  10. I am currently doing an equal amount of running as well as cycling. I would like to know if this cross training benefits/has a negative effect on either one?
  11. Just relax I am starting in zz and really looking forward to the race. The guy is just a jackass.
  12. 1st time riding was a little worried until I did Suikerbosrand last week and now feel like I can tackle anything.
  13. can you give an approximate distance of the route? Difficulty level? Safety concerns?
  14. I am also interested, please can you send me the route details and the variations.
  15. Why are you looking for mudguards? I thought one of the reasons to go mountain biking was to get dirty.
