On Mondays i take clothing to work for the week so no real choice there, Although when i left home this morning it was dry, by the time we got to newtown the roads soaked, so i would have been drenched by the time i got to work
Fortunately i dont commute on Mondays, i dont have a waterproof pack or a suitable jacket. Which leaves me wondering what the rest of you use for those unexpected showers on the way to or from work
See this i would understand as a valid excuse, when i was still a junior tech i would have to drive around the east rand all day. No chance of a commute
On my way to work last week i was almost sandwiched by a dude in a polo who had just come past me on the right and proceeded to drift over towards the gautrain bus on my left. I have lights on the back and front so there was no way he didnt see me. banged on his passenger window a good few times to wake him up. Always amazes me how drivers have to over take just to stop suddenly 5 meters later.
I bought my Fenix 3 off bikehub classifieds. This unit was bought in Zurich and I sent the info to Garmin Rosebank an d they confirmed that it's covered. So I doubt you will have any issues
Do you commute with the Somec? I saw a guy on a retro bike near the westcliff stairs yesterday. Looked like he was about to go into cardiac arrest though
Also still waiting for payout. Phone today and was told that there has been no submissions since 2015, according to them mY profile was one of those affected by the whole IT issue and that they are currently working on restoring. I call bs.
13/365 as well Need to do a Run after work but i start my commute tomorrow will need to extend the route a bit in order to get a bit more TITS. The legs are feeling it after a weekend of riding and trail running so not too amped on the session later today
