Hi guys. Here is an interesting question/not. Perhaps its been touched on. There seems to be besides the mobile phones that are getting jacked, a penchant for other tech being taken by these mofos as in watches etc,they wouldn't be hanging onto this merchandise and wouldnt have a personal need for said merch,and as they seem to be repeating the modus ,surely someone is buying the stuff,now who would that be. Do you guys get my drift? Surely some dealer in 2nd hand high class tech is buying and selling?

There is the daily blog I watch on you tube called active self protection. The biggest lesson that John Coriea gives is situational awareness. If you constantly are aware it makes a difference. And to avoid is paramount ,but if you are forced to fight then you have to give 110% or the outcome is negative. I tell you guys this, We still live in the best Country in the world,and global there are these issues we just need to think a thing through.

I also absolutely love the spruit. Up to about a year ago if one greeted the local residents /vagrants they greeted back. There was a balance and respect. There seems to be a new crowd now and it's becoming a problem. Perhaps a meeting with parkhurst cpf /saps on how to address this could be a option

Apparently closer to the emmarentia dam So may be the same guys doing Alberts farm. One guy had a gun but it fell apart when the guy breached a round. But they had knives and also peppers prayed the two cyclists.

To add to the spruit. Two friends new being Wayne(Kiwi) from Rapide got held up at gun and knife point this morning closer to Emmarentia Dam this morning. So it seems like spruit is going through the less popular phase that it did a few years ago. Unless the authorities can blitz the place again. Just so sad.

I hear you. Guys another thing experienced riders have learnt is to go prepared. You go on a 120k ride with 2 bottles, do the same even on a 70. I'm certain if you asked around 95%of people enjoyed the ride and it's a wonderful event/course to get novices into the sport

Hi guys. And thank you in advance.my 29 er mtb frame has a tapered headset with a straight steerer fork. I'm in the process of purchasing a tapered fork but am looking for the fork bearing race adaptor that would accommodate tapered fork stem into bearings of straight steerer, if you guys know what I'm getting at

Santander 2 you are probably a capatalist that does not want to see other people making money. Life is choice. If you find it pricey don't ride ,but flip side of the coin don't berate organisers. If you can afford a bike you can probably afford the odd race. Look at the price of the Juma and that's a 50k bike race. Period

We ride there often. Some parts are trimed. Due to the rain I guess it's difficult to keep everything in check. Still a great place to ride

Andrew. I so agree with you. It could have been a ceded cyclist being late and wanting to get to the start on time. I have seen it numerous times over the years. And it certainly was a SUV type vehicle as it drove over him. It boils down the fact that whoever did it has no compunction or concience.

I'm with the family at present. And it seems it was a SUV as the vehicle went over him and did not drag him. He passed from sever internal injuries. Probably an anebriated driver
