Did anyone else see the irony in Aitken crashing Russll's car to bring out the yellow flags which resulted in Russell not winning.

Another good F2 race. Mick seems the real deal now. 18th to 7th and will start second in tomorrows sprint race. No impressed with Marzipan. Some real dodgy defending and almost put Drugovich in the pit lane. Don't try that in F1. On the other hand if he's at the back of the field every GP then it won't be an issue.

So George destroys the field in his first outing and Bottas appears to be sulking on the radio already.

I wonder how his feet are doing. I have size 11 as well. Don't know how he gets them into a size 10 to fit in the car.

Update of the two birds. All going well. They are now being kept at the local vet to minimize human contact. I'll be driving them to a rehab centre near Plett in two weeks (sooner if the vet is happy). The rehab centre in Stellenbosch is closer but they will only release in their area. Biggest issue is keeping the bigger chick quiet. He is now finding his wings.

Two new pets to look after. These two young sparrowhawks were knocked out of their nests. Probably by an Egyptian Goose or something big. They were found a few hundred metres apart and both have broken their right leg. One is about 4 weeks older than the other. Our local vet has done a great job. Now to keep them quite for a few weeks then off to a sanctuary for rehab

Million dollar question. Will Haas throw Mick onto the seat for next weeks GP. Mick will most probably say no. Winning F2 will be more beneficial to him.
